The Laurier Centre for Women in Science (WinS) is an interdisciplinary research centre which leverages research, action, and communication to strengthen equity across science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). We produce evidence-informed insights, partnering with communities and institutions to drive practical change, and sharing accessible knowledge that supports more inclusive cultures, policies, and pathways.
Through an explicit equity lens, WinS works to reduce barriers, amplify underrepresented voices, and help build conditions where everyone can thrive in science.
WinS Research and Programs Director Dr. Eden Hennessey's photo-research exhibits highlight the experiences, challenges, and successes of women in STEM, pairing striking images with evidence-based research.
